   I got this for my daughters Inspiron 15 laptop. I was terribly disappointed when it didnt work even though I got the correct model. It will power the laptop but not charge the battery. I have to lend her the charger for my Latitude D531. If it was so costly to send it back I would have done so long ago. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

   Yes, I was skeptical like a lot of people, especially after reading some of the not so positive reviews. I received the product in less time than I expected, it came very nicely packaged and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Works great with my Inspiron 6400. Gives me long lasting battery which not even my last charger (the original one) did.

   Bought a used Dell Inspiron 1521 and the guy threw in a universal adapter. After about 2 days I realized the battery wasn’t charging. Lots of reasons it could have been but the adapter was one of them. I bought this adapter to try before replacing the battery (old and completely discharged) because it was very inexpensive and in no time my battery was charged.

   I don’t expect this adapter to last forever but it is doing the job and clarified what was wrong. It gets warm, but not hot. Apparently, it works better on some models than others but it was well worth trying and I am glad I did.
